The web has improved the forecast in 2016, the loss grew to 130 billion rubles
The loss of Vnesheconombank (VEB) at the end of 2016 will amount to over about 130 billion rubles, while the forecast at the beginning of the year to 200 billion rubles, most of it caused by the sale of ADR GazpromGAZP, the Chairman of Vnesheconombank Sergey Gorkov told reporters.
“We almost minus 200 billion rubles drew the loss (in 2016 – ed.) as a result, we are now entering… somewhere around minus 130 billion rubles,” – he told reporters.
He stressed that the loss calculated by the company.
“We have only (selling – edition) ADR “Gazprom” have brought to us minus 118 (billion rubles – ed.) because there is a historical difference between the price at which we sold, a long time has passed – seven years. From almost 130 ( billion loss – ed.) we have 118 is ADR “Gazprom”, – said Gorkov .
“So we have the result much better than we predicted”, he concluded.
The total amount of external liabilities of the Bank, which will have to pay in 2017, is about 240 billion rubles. Vnesheconombank for the first nine months of 2016, reduced the net loss under IFRS 35% to 86.2 billion rubles from 133 billion rubles for the same period last year. The net loss of the web by the company for January-September 2016 increased 3.3 times – up to 153,748 billion.
