The volume of investments with ICO in the start-UPS in Russia in 2017 reached $200 million
The volume of investments in Russian startups in the cryptocurrency through the ICO (initial public offering tokens) in 2017 has increased 10 times compared with the previous year, reaching approximately $ 200 million, follows from the data of the trading platform CryptoBazar.
From June 2013 to April 2017, on average, one ICO allowed the company to $ 2 million, and by the end of 2017, this indicator increased more than 10 times to 22.6 million. “22.6 million dollars is the average fees for a single project, and the result for the year investments in all projects from Russia – about $ 200 million”, – told RIA Novosti the founder CryptoBazar Fund Oleg Ivanov.
In the whole world in 2017, the 10 largest ICO attracted 550 million dollars, or 30% of all funds collected in this way in the past year.
The weight of the cryptocurrency on the background established, traditional sectors of the financial markets in the world is negligible (only 0.6 trillion), while the global volume of banking products is 90 trillion dollars in the stock market are managed by 73 trillion and the derivatives market – 544 trillion, but the share of digital currency will rise quickly, also predicts the company.
“It’s safe to predict that it will grow rapidly. The main causes considered: the entrance of institutional investors into the market through bitcoin, the growing number hardforce current blockchain networks and the increase in funds raised as a result of one ICO, as well as the growth and development of the projects themselves, raised money for development through tool ICO”, – stated in the release.
